I’ve been rewatching some of my favorite animated films. As dominant as Disney was in my childhood, Don Bluth made a super strong showing. He made so many classics.

Trying out Mastodon. Just dog gifs so far. Maybe that’s all it’ll be. mastodon.social/@lynnandtonic
“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” is super cute. I would have been obsessed with it as a teen. Still loved it as an adult.
I always wanted to wear it to school and in 2nd grade my mom let me wear it exactly once. She later told me she cringed a lot that day, but she didn’t want to crush my innocent love for Hooters.
I finally got to go and it was even better than I imagined. The waitresses were so sweet to me, I ate fried food, and I did indeed get to hula hoop after dinner.
My mom (bless her heart) even bought me the Hooters t-shirt I wanted.
Seeing that Hooters article headline makes me laugh. I loved Hooters as a kid. I remember walking by it, always wanting to go to the Owl restaurant (I loved animals) with the big TVs and hula hoops.
The mahjong scene in Crazy Rich Asians is very, very good. Wow. Also they had these wooden sticks that helped align their tiles and why have I never seen or done this?
Also also, Awkwafina is a treasure.

What’s your absolute worst guilty pleasure food? The very worst crap that you’d eat every day if it wouldn’t kill you dead.
Mine:
- White Castle
- McDonald’s breakfast
- Instant ramen
