I was questioning why people live in the cold of Minneapolis but now I’m chilling sugar cookies outside on the porch and that’s not so bad.
Highlights of my 2018:

My 4.0 in high school meant ASU paid me to go there and rock the shit out of their fine arts and honors program.
Passing on hiring straight A students? Your loss.
At ASU if you graduate with a 4.0 in four years or fewer they give you a special award.
I was the only person from the fine arts college to walk across that stage.
The roar from our school section fuels me to this day.
To do well as a fine arts student you have to create things out of thin air repeatedly and in demand.
You have to work for it.
And in return no one takes you seriously.
